REMOTE SERVICE WITH 3D TOILING AND DIGITAL FITTING

Most economic service of all, as you don't need to spend time and money on travel, on studio rental, pattern cutting equipment and materials and the turnover is very quick as the patterns are done in CAD 2D and 3D (digitally). This service is available throughout the Europe. Ad-hoc, temporary, seasonal bookings accepted. Long term business relationships are very welcome.

Pattern cutting is done according to e-mailed or posted technical images/sketches and instructions. All details are talked through skype/zoom/phone/e-mail. Initial quick 3D mock-up images (digital toile/simulated garment) are shared with customer to confirm style lines, shape, volume and any other important details of the piece.

Finished CAD (digital) patterns are shared with customer in .dxf AAMA format. There is also a possibility to arrange plotted (paper) patterns delivered to your door (UK) or sending a plot file that can be plotted at your local printing service provider.

All the patterns will be accompanied with sewing and cutting instructions.

Techpacs, measurement charts and other technical documentation will be made if requested.

There is a possibility to have the 3D toiles developed further into a detailed 3D simulations or rendered. Having the 3D simulated garment there is also a posibility to develop colourways, print and graphics layouts

Remote digital fitting can also be arranged with the avatar being set to your precise fit model measurements.

3D DIGITAL PATTERN CUTTING

Below I'll explain what it is and why you want your garments and patterns to be developed digitally in CAD and 3D.

When developing the garment in CAD and 3D it gives you several options that will not only speed up the development process, ease the decision making but also save on unwanted physical toiles and samples.

As soon as the first base pattern is created you can:

- view and examine the digital toile - asses the fit on the avatar set to your fit model measurements, assess the overall look and the style lines, volumes, detail placement, etc

- make amendments to the toile – adjust the fit, the shape, the volume; adjust detail placement, change style lines, add or remove details

- compare how the style fits on different avatars ( for example if creating size M you can fit it on the smaller and bigger representation of the size, a tall or petite one; if creating a unisex model you can fit it both on male and female avatar set to your specified size)

Once you are happy with the base pattern you can dive deeper into production details as digital toiling allows for:

- applying various fabrics, trims and finishings

- testing and developing various colourways

- applying and testing various lace, prints, graphics - that means that if you design you your own prints and graphics you can see them in 1:1 scale on the garment, adjust the placements or scaling if needed, change colours if needed, and once you are happy, have the exact placement of your print or graphic plotted/printed in 1:1 scale on the pattern, or if you wish have the layout plan in a A4, A3 etc

Having all garment details and fit adjusted and your physical sample already stitched, approved and sealed your pattern can be sent to the manufacturer in the best possible way – a dxf digital pattern. This allows for instant sharing, easy grading, plotting. No worries about the lost pattern piece or a torn one. Absolutely no need of sending the physical manual pattern to be digitized, copied etc

And if there is a need to adjust any of the details on the garment in the later stage, this can be easily done without sending back the pattern to the pattern cutter as the pattern is still there, ready to be amended whenever needed.
